Prescription wait times.
It has been decided that from the 1st of April 2019 we will be changing our policy on prescription wait times. It will be increased from a 48 to a 72 hour period. Please allow adequate time when requesting repeat prescriptions. Local Pharmacies have been made aware of the change and will update their records accordingly. If you have any queries regarding this change then please do not hesitate to contact the practice prescribing team.
A registered carer is someone that looks after a relative, partner or friend and doesn’t receive any financial benefit. We, The Arch Medical Practice are working closely with Manchester Health & Care Commissioning to identify these patients and what more we can do to help that populations. If you are a registered Carer please inform Matt (DQ Lead) at the practice so we can update our records accordingly. Once you have done this please complete the attached Survey Monkey questionnaire. If you would prefer this in hard copy form please let us know. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8ZXM7SL
We at The Arch offer various support for our carers. Addition support can be offered at ‘Carer support days’. To see their leaflet and upcoming events please see the below attached leaflet.
The Arch on Twitter
Are you on Twitter? Yes? So are we…. We recommend that all our patients join our twitter page to keep up-to-date with surgery news.
We have recently re-installed our in house twitter account to send Health campaign information, practice updates, local meetings and many more patient related information.
If you would like to follow the Arch on twitter our username is @ArchMedical. Please note that we DO NOT respond to direct messages on the app and all queries should be sent to the practice directly. You can find out how to do this by looking at the contact section.
