Dental Problems

Dental problems should be dealt with by a dentist. He or she is able to prescribe antibiotics for you and can best advise on the treatment of abscesses, toothache, etc. If you are not registered with a dentist, you should call  contact your dentist for advice. It is not appropriate to attend A&E with dental problems.

Due to the current COVID-19 crisis and unprecedented demands on General Practice, GPs are having to change the way they work such that patients are being managed over the telephone, via some form of eConsultations and video consultations.
