Clinical Training Practice
As an approved training practice your appointment maybe with:
- Registrars
– These are fully qualified doctors who spend six months per year with us prior to qualifying as a GP - Foundation doctors
– These are doctors who have just completed their hospital training and spend up to six months while they receive GP training from our doctors. You will be informed of this prior to your appointment.
Our designated clinical training leads are Dr R Hawting and Dr T Leigh.
How to Register with the Practice
To register with the practice you firstly need to present yourself to reception with a form of identity, it must be photographic (eg Passport, Driving license or some other kind of photographic identity) and one proof of address (eg a utility bill, bank statement etc.)
You will be required to fill in a patient registration form. Once this has been completed you will be registered within a 7 to 10 working day period. If you have repeat medication, you will be required to make a GP appointment before any prescriptions are issued. This appointment is necessary as it gives us vital information as it can sometimes take a while for your original records to arrive from your previous GP.

How to register with the practice
Please make sure you complete the whole questionnaire. Its vital the information you put is up to date and correct.
Once the form has been completed you could email us the completed questionnaire on [email protected].
Obtaining Test Results
If you have a test done by a doctor or a nurse you will normally be told how long these results take. If you are not contacted by the surgery you can assume that either your test was normal or that the medication you were given is correct.
There is no need to telephone the surgery for your test results, if necessary the practice will contact you.

If your tests have been requested by a consultant/hospital doctor please do not ring the practice for your results. Please ring the department that you attended for these results.
